| Traditionally, friends and family members of inmates have been limited to a single contact option. The phone and US mail has always been
the only approved form of contact. Because incoming calls are not normally permitted, inmates must schedule each of their calls or
hope someone is at home when they call. This limits the times an inmate can hope to make contact with the outside world and makes it hard for friends and family members to speak to a loved one in a correctional facility. In order to help the friends and family members of incarcerated individuals stay in contact, we provide an Electronic Mail System. At participating facilities, this system provides you with another convenient way to stay in contact whenever and wherever you are.
